The Half Blade trousers were also designed first by Crazy and then, as often happens, taken up by many other brands when it became compulsory in the rules of the big classic races to have a padded trouser cover in your rucksack, which had to meet precise thermal and weight characteristics. The outer fabric above the knee is in stretch nylon, the padding in POLARTEC Alpha and the leg bottoms in waterproof 2.75 layer Dermizzax nylon. Under the crotch there is a wedge in bielastic microfibre which avoids the annoying "sticky" feeling typical of nylon, and the zp's are divisible at the sides to avoid removing the skis when they are worn. A concentration of technology in less than 300 g.
