The most protective jacket in our collection. A product that combines great protection, highly technical features and full stretch - the perfect solution for mountaineering and for the most extreme environments. All materials used for the Neutron - the outer fabric, the insulation and the lining - are completely stretchy. Thanks to this, when we created it in 2013, this was the world’s first fully stretch jacket. The outer fabric is highly waterproof, with a 20,000mm hydrostatic head rating, but the seams are not taped to promote breathability - one of the garment’s main priorities. The only taped seams are those on the hood; this feature, together with the shoulders constructed using a seamless single panel, ensure water-tight performance in one of the areas most exposed to rain and snow. The stretch outer fabric is Toray’s Dermizax nylon; Primaloft Active insulation provides warmth and is water-repellent and stretchy too.
